Since its inception, the college has extended its
activities in a multifaceted manner to enhance its academic value.
Celebrations
• The college in collaboration with IPGA celebrated a daylong
seminar at the college premises on the 8th March 2008 on “Towards a
Brighter prospect of
Pharmacy Graduates professionals”
• The college has successfully celebrated the 47th National Pharmacy
Week in collaboration with IPA Bengal Branch on 22nd November 2008
in the college
premises. The celebration was presided by Dr. Satyajit Basu, renowned
cardiac surgeon.

• Dr Sanmoy Karmakar, Dept of Pharm. Technology, JU, delivered on
‘Safety Pharmacology: Scope & Objective’ on 19th February 2009.
• Dr. Kunal Roy, Dept of Pharm. Technology, JU, delivered on
‘Computer Aided Drug Design’ on 6th March 2009.
• Mr. Malay Mitra, Deputy Drug Controller (I) CDSCO (East Zone),
Kolkata, delivered a seminar on “WHO GMP” on 28th March 2009.
• Mr. Tamal Bagchi, Senior Marketing Expert, delivered on
Pharmaceutical marketing Concepts and issues on 28th March 2009.
• Dr.B.Mukherjee, Prof. JU, delivered a lecture on “Novel Drug Delivery System” in 2009
• Dr.S.Mondal, W.B. Drug Control, delivered a lecture on “Regulatory areas” in 2010.
• Dr.Santanu Tripathy delivered a lecture on “Current trends in pharma coviligence” in 2011
Publications
The college publishes “pharmawave”, the technical journal of the college and “Viewpoint”, a pharma mag, the in-house magazine.
